Planet Smart won a spot in Imperial College London’s Accelerator!

Planet Smart, the owner of the brand Planet Diapers, was accepted to the Undaunted’s Greenhouse accelerator! In partnership with the Royal Institution and Imperial College London, Planet Smart will receive a £20,000 grant along with business support through their 12-month program. Start-ups in this decade-old accelerator have already raised in excess of $1 billion, making it one of the leading climate tech accelerators in the country. 

Within the new cohort, there are four biomaterial start-ups alongside Planet Smart. Biomaterial R&D is a long and expensive process, and having a network of start-ups in the same position will make the undertaking easier. The company will have access to Imperial College’s wet labs, R&D department and unique scale-up facilities.

The Greenhouse Accelerator is also teeming with experts in the baby industry and deep tech R&D that can help boost our product & business development. We see this as a critical step forward to get the necessary resources we need on our journey to create a microplastic-free world.
